(rshsdepot) depot negs for sale
Now available is 31-page Rail Negative List #97 with original black
& white negatives for sale below cost of rail operations S-T. These
have been shot from the 1970's until the present. Some subjects sell
out the first time listed. Other subjects dribble on for decades.
(This proves that I'm not psychic.)
Subjects include locos (with roster data, including dispositions),
passenger cars, freight cars, cabooses, work equipment, depots and
stations (with architectural details). Locations and dates are listed
for each shot.
Depots listed are onsite, unless otherwise noted.
Depots and stations this time are from the Sacramento Northern;
Saint Louis-San Francisco (Kansas & Oklahoma only); Saint Louis
Southwestern (Kansas, Oklahoma & Texas only, all ex-RI and most also
shot during RI days); Salt Lake Union Depot; San Diego & Arizona
Eastern; San Diego Northern aka Coaster; San Luis Valley
Southern; Sierra Railroad; SOO (North Dakota & Montana only); South
Dakota Railroad Authority; Southern California Railroad Authority aka
Metrolink; Southern Pacific (Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona, New
Mexico & Sierra Blanca Texas); Northwestern Pacific; Texas & New Orleans
(Sierra Blanca only); Southern San Luis Valley; Southwestern; Sunset
Railway Co.; Texas & Pacific; Texas-New Mexico (now all gone); Texas
North Western Railway; Tidewater Southern; Tooele Valley and the Tucson,
Cornelia & Gila Bend. (The Tulsa-Sapulpa Union is sold out.)
The negatives are 2.3 by 3.5 inches. They are shot with my Fujica
G690BL press camera with coupled rangefinder for precision focus. They
are shipped in individual archival-plastic envelopes.
The lists are free via e-mail. Please respond directly to me at
n.metcalf_@_worldnet.att.net rather than on-list.
Lists are also available for rail operations beginning with A, B, C,
D-F, G-H, I-M, N-R and U-Z.
