(rshsdepot) Virginia Southern Railroad Depot - 1870

I am writing with a request for information. I am looking for
historical photos of and/or information about Virginia Depots. A few years
ago, my husband and I rescued a wooden depot from demolition; the Depot in
Arrington, Nelson County, Virginia, which was built in 1870 and was
originally on the Southern Railroad line.

We have learned quite a bit from local lore, but concrete history is
spotty. We have searched local records, but few seem to exist. We now have
listed the depot for sale.

If anyone might have information on Virginia and/or Southern Railroad
depots, or knows of any leads or good sources of information, I would
greatly appreciate hearing from you.

Many thanks,
Jamie Hale
