It seems the end of construction of grand passenger stations is far from  
over: Berlin is putting touches on its nearly $900 million (Yes folks  
nearly a billion dollars) main train station that is a cathedral of  
glass and steel which took over almost 8 years to build, consisting  
of a glass curved train-shed of stunning modern beauty, with over  
9,000 glass panels.

The photos are wonderful. Kinda makes you think about our country's  
transportation policy as a whole when you read articles like this.  
We'll be too busy bailing out the airlines,to even dream of such a  
project.
