They extracted manganese here at Alum Rock Park in Eastern San José, the viaduct of this railroad/trolley with arches still exist in pieces. I realize alum and manganese are not planets; the mercury was down at New Almaden and I don't think rail pictures exist but it was there too, here is (the best hiking as well is at Quicksilver Park).
