(rshsdepot) depot negs for sale
Now available is 34-page Rail Negative List #84 with original black
& white negatives shot of rail operations beginning with C.
These have been shot from the 1970's until the present. Some subjects
sell out the first time listed. Others dribble on for decades. (This
proves that I'm not psychic.)
Subjects include locos (with roster data, including dispositions),
passenger cars, freight cars, cabooses, work equipment, depots &
stations (with architectural details). Locations and dates are listed
for each shot.
Depots this time around are from the Cadillac & Lake City (Colorado
only); California Western; Canadian National (Manitoba & Saskatchewan
only); Canadian Pacific (Manitoba & Saskatchewan only); Chicago &
Northwestern (Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and
Wyoming only); Chicago, Burlington & Quincy (South Dakota, Nebraska,
Kansas, Montana, Wyoming and Colorado only); Chicago, Milwaukee, St.
Paul & Pacific (Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota and Montana only);
Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific (Iowa, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas,
Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado and New Mexico only); Chicago, St. Paul,
Minneapolis & Omaha (Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota and Nebraska only);
Colorado & Southern (Wyoming, Colorado and New Mexico); Colorado &
Wyoming and the Colorado Midland.
The negatives are 2.3 by 3.5 inches. They are shot with my Fujica
G690BL press camera with coupled rangefinder for precision focus. They
are shipped in individual archival-plastic envelopes.
The list is free via e-mail. Please respond directly to me at
n.metcalf_@_worldnet.att.net rather than on-list.
If you prefer I'll print and mail you a copy in the United States or
Canada for $3.00 US to Norm Metcalf, P.O. Box 1368, Boulder Colorado
80306-1368 USA.
Lists are also available for rail operations beginning with A, B,
D-F, G-M, N-R, S-T and U-Z.
