(rshsdepot) Central tracks going

Well, not sure where the Circus Train will go next year for the Nassau Coliseum, rail remover appeared last week and going home today I saw them putting a caboose on a truck, the old baggage car, coaches and cupola caboose were already gone. Where are they going and why not by rail I know not...but I have now had it verified, this track is to be lifted, the NIMBYs killedthe freight, they stopped any idea of "people mover" or LRV to all the new shopping and housing where Mitchel Field and Roosevelt Raceway were.

Long Island has no planning, no preservation and this much less rail now..

does anyone know anything about this or where to find info?
