(rshsdepot) Kelso, CA



This weekend my wife and I drove out to Kelso on the way to 

Needles, and toured the restored UP depot there.



If you haven't been there, I would highly recommend the trip.

The restoration is remarkable, both inside and out.

There are exhibits on the ground floor and second floor, and

the basement is also open.  There is a bookstore, and there

are plans to re-open the lunchroom in the near future.

The ticket office has been furnished so as to look like the

real thing, when the UP operated passenger trains through

there.



I took a bunch of photos, if anyone has a website where they

The depot is staffed for visitors on Wednesday-Saturday.
