RE: (rshsdepot) Train station restaurant in Ithaca, NY
Doing some checking, I found that the restaurant closed in September and has
been acquired by a bank which plans to restore the station to its earlier
appearance as a station.
According to a news release from Chemung Canal Trust Co., they expect to
reopen in April.

Subject: (rshsdepot) Train station restaurant in Ithaca, NY
hello,
Does anyone know about what is happening to the old
Train Station restaurant in Ithaca, NY, at the "octopus"?
I see that it was sold recently and that some renovations
are being done inside. I am just trying to be sure that not all
of the station original fixtures are being removed.
It is such a beautiful building with much history,
that I hate to see it ruined.
Please let me know, and when we can do to save what is left.
thank you,
Ms. Jules Hojnowski
