For Sale: Eutawville, SC Train Station

In the mid-sixties, a private individual purchased the train station
that was subsequently moved to a Lake Front Lot at 293 Belvedere Dr,
Eutawville, SC. About four miles from the original location. Located on
a leased lot from the South Carolina Public Service Authority that can
be purchased at anytime during the life of the lease. The annual lease
rate is $150.00. With extensions, the lease will last twelve more years.

I bought the house two years ago from a couple that had mutual friends.
The house is completely furnished. I replaced the roof, repainted the
house and cleaned up the lot. I also replaced the refrigerator, washer
and brought the electrical system up to code; purchased a termite bond
and had the septic system refurbished. I attempted to restore the house
as closely as possible to the original pictures and make it livable.

With 1,436 sq feet, the house can sleep 10. With three bedrooms, one
bath, a kitchen (in the old counter area) and a great room with bar, it
is heated with a wood stove. The house is decorated with a 'train'
motique w/Seaboard sighs, etc. The washer/dryer is in a small basement
area. Water is from a well and has a septic tank.

My preference is to sell the house to someone who cares about the history.

Price is $130,000.

Contact: Bob McQuillan, 1-843-851-9941. I live about 35 minutes from the
house.
