Re: (rshsdepot) Borough Hall - Brooklyn Bridge
Alas, Michael, a male cannot argue effectively against a female's logic.
Never mind that for years you had been trained not to go near the stairs
because they were not accessible. No, you forced yourself to go elsewhere to
get to where you needed to go.
Did your friend know the stairs had been closed for, oh, so long? It doesn't
even matter if the station you refer to is in New York, London or Timbuktu.
Is your friend worth pursuing? Is she understanding? If she thinks you're a
dope, your cause is most likely lost anyway. On the other hand, if she's
reasonable and can understand why you acted the way you did, then onward, I
say.
BUT -- on the other hand, you seem to not be sure the stairs had actually
been closed. If, in fact, they were not, plead stupidity.
My two cents worth in your quest. :-)
