Now available is 27-page Rail Negative List #70 listing rail operations
G-M. There are numerous items freshly-cataloged since the previous
G-M list. These have been shot from the 1970's to the present. Some
sell out the first time listed, others dribble along for decades. (This
proves that I'm not psychic.)
Depots and stations are listed with architectural details and date
shot. Depots available are from the Garden City Western; Great Northern
(MN, ND, SD, MT, OR & CA only); Great Western Railway; Harbor Belt Line;
Illinois Central (IA & SD only); Las Vegas & Tonopah; Longview, Portland
& Northern; Magma Arizona; McCloud River; Midland Continental;
Minneapolis & St. Louis (SD only); Missouri-Kansas-Texas (KS & OK only);
Missouri Pacific (NE, KS & CO only); Texas & Pacific and the Texas-New
Mexico.
The negatives are 2.3 by 3.5 inches. They are shot with my Fujica
G690BL press camera with coupled rangefinder for precision focus.
They are shipped in individual archival-plastic envelopes.
The list is free via e-mail. Please respond directly to me, rather
than on-list.
If you prefer I'll print and mail you a copy in the United States or
Canada for $2.00 US to Norm Metcalf, Boulder Colorado 80306-1368 USA.
Lists are also available for rail operations beginning with A (lots of
ATSF), B (lots of BN & BNSF), C (lots of CNW, CBQ, MILW, RI and CS); D-F
(lots of DRGW & FWD), N-R (lots of NP), S-T (lots of SOO and SP) and U-Z
(lots of UP and WP).
