Interestingly enough, if you look at that article now, there is a very
significant correction attached:
"Correction to This Article
A Sept. 4 article on the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina incorrectly said
that Louisiana Gov. Kathleen Babineaux Blanco (D) had not declared a state
of emergency. She declared an emergency on Aug. 26."
So a lie from an un-named senior Bush official is already halfway around
the world, and the truth is just now getting its boots on. Again.
