The Nova Scotia Railway Heritage Society has been advised by the North American Railroad Foundation that our plan to create a Nova Scotia Railway Heritage Centre in the former 1920s-era CN station at Elmsdale NS is elgible for funding if we apply in the next budget period.
It now remains to negotiate with the Municipality of East Hants, owners of the building, to obtain it for this use.
Does anyone on this list have experience applying for NARF funding, and if so, any advice that you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
