Re: (rshsdepot) Tunnel Article
some guy thinks there is an abandoned pre-1860 railroad steam locomotive in the inaccessible part of a tunnel sealed in 1860, under
Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn, there is a piece of the tunnel of the once railroad later shuttle between Yankee Stadium and the Polo
Grounds, part of the tunnel is near McCombs Dam Park near the stadium, the area intended for the new Yankee Stadium...there are
unused tunnels between the Long island Railroad and the unused rail yards in the place where they want to build the Brooklyn Nets
arena and too many ugly skyscrapers in Brooklyn, but I don't know about WM tunnels alas...why do you think this guy would make up
such a thing?

Subject: (rshsdepot) Tunnel Article
: Some time ago someone posted an article about a guy in the northeast that is
: interested in tunnels. He detailed a story about finding a tunnel next to
: Sideling Hill in Maryland.
:
: I was all around there last week..ALL AROUND THERE....there ain't no tunnel.
:
: The guy didn't return my email either.
:
: There are several tunnels on the abandoned Western Maryland but they are at
: least ten miles south of I-68 and Sideling Hill.
:
: Lessons to be learned....don't believe everything you read and bring your
: DeLorme atlas with you.
