MORTON STATION PRESERVATION COMMITTEE
UPDATE
Morton Borough Council will vote on the Delaware County Renaissance Program grant application for the Westbound Passenger Shelter Restoration at their regular public meeting this Wednesday, August 10, 7:30 PM, at Morton Borough Hall, Highland Avenue and Alfa Terrace.
Feedback from the Council members at last week's aganda meeting was generally positive. Thanks to all who came out in support. That said, we still need to have a good contingent present for the vote on Wednesday to demonstrate the ongoing support for our effort. Please try to make the meeting if you are free.
If approved, the application will be submitted by August 15th. We would then expect to receive word in mid-October regarding whether our proposal will be funded.
Thanks.
Mario Cimino
