(rshsdepot) Depot Restoration

I received a phone call this afternoon from a producer for a coming-soon television series on "The History Channel" entitled "Back to the Blueprint".

He said that they had already filmed the first season of the program, focusing on the restoration of homes. For the second season they want to focus on commercial buildings, specifically railroad depots. From what he said the series focus is more on what and why something is being restored, in other words the history of the building (not the "how" you might see on "This Old House")

They are looking for a depot under restoration that they can spend just a few days or hours filming for the show. They are located in NYC, so closer to there is better, but will consider any project in the US. Does not have to be a big project, just some sort of restoration.

If you know of any depot restoration in progress that may want to consider being part of this have them contact Colin Scherer at Onscreen Enterprises. His phone number is 212-532-6565 x 206 or email him at colin_@_onscreenent.net. Mention that you heard about this through the Railroad Station Historical Society (or Jim Dent) so that he knows why you are calling.
