The fate of the North Pemberton Railroad Station Complex will be decided
this Wednesday, June 22nd, at the Pemberton Township Municipal Building at
7:30 PM.  As most of you already know, we have been fighting this for a long
time. The last two Zoning Board meetings have resulted in a postponement by
Wawa.  If they show up for this one, a decision by the Zoning Board will
either make or break us.  If they don't show up, we will most likely be able
to purchase the 9.5 acre property and restore the Station Complex to what it
was 100 years ago.  If they win, then all of the old building foundations,
turntable, etc., will be lost forever.  

 

We need to let them know that people care and that can only be done by your
presence.  If enough people show up for the meeting, the Zoning Board will
think twice about destroying this valuable piece of history.  Please come
out for the meeting if you possibly can. The Municipal Building is located
at 500 Pemberton/Browns Mills Road, Pemberton, NJ 

 

You can email the Zoning Board at: bdonelson_@_pemberton-twp.com   These
emails will carry a lot of weight, even if you cannot attend the meeting.
They will show that people care about preserving our history.
