Researching some of my old cd's of rr stations today, I noticed that
Pemberton is a carbon copy of the seven stations the PRR constructed on the
Chestnut Hill branch. Please note however, that the stations on that line
ARE NOT as designed and built, rather, they were renovated by Frank Heyling
Furness at a later date (1890's) by adding a second floor, dormers etc.
Bottom line is that Pemberton was not designed by the Wilson Bros. as I
first thought, but rather, by William B. Powell, PRR architect for the
aforementioned stations as well as Harrisburg, and Trenton to name a few.
