Dear Mark Camp,
I write as a representative of the board of the Guilford Preservation Alliance that is trying to stabilize, restore and make commercially viable the train station in Guilford, CT. Since this is currently our central project, our annual meeting on May 17 (7:30 p.m., Guilford Community Center) will feature industrial archaeologist and historian Bruce Clouette speaking on "Historic Railroad Structures at Guilford, Past and Present." We would like to announce this illustrated lecture to as many people as possible who are interested in train stations and their history. Can you suggest an effective way to contact train buffs about this? Your help would be much appreciated.
Cordially,
Peter H. Hare
