This past Easter weekend Elsie and I visited the Tamaqua Station.While there
we met Mr. Dale Freudenberger, he was busy restoring a mirror for the station.
Mr. Freudenberger was very cordial and informative and informed us that the
one thing the restaurant was waiting for was the license for the sale of
alchohol. Once this is procured the staion restaurant will open. Here are a
few pictures of the exterior of the restored station. The work that has been
done is excellent! George Picyk
