(rshsdepot) L&HR Allamuchy (NJ) Freight House

I thought I would pass on some good news....it has to do with a former L&HR building.

If you visit the URL below, you will see that restoration work has 
begun on the Allamuchy Freight House, which dates back to 
1906.  This project is spearheaded by the Allamuchy 
Environmental Commission, with support by the NJ Midland 
Railroad Historical Society. The freight house has been listed on 
the New Jersey State and National Registers of Historic Places.

If there is enough interest and financial support, Allamuchy 
Township is contemplating reconstructing the passenger station 
as well.  This is an exciting prospect indeed.
