(rshsdepot) Kelso CA depot news

Per issue #7/2004 of the Mojave National Preserve's Park Guide & News
restoration and renovation of the LASL/UP's Kelso CA depot should be
complete by the spring of 2005.  The pepper trees have been cut down, thus
rendering the building photographable (their picture shows four palm trees
in front).  It has been restored to pink from white.  The lunch counter has
been restored to its 1924-1949 configuration.  It is intended to become the
visitor center for the preserve with theater, library and exhibits.
