(rshsdepot) 2005 RSHS Convention

The 2005 Railroad Station Historical Society Convention will be held June
3-6, 2005 in Altoona, PA.

Three days of bus tours are planned (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and then
Monday a car caravanning tour covering Altoona area to Gallitzin mountain
sites is planned.

Our host, Rich Ballash, last hosted an RSHS convention, in the Pittsburgh
area, in 1993.  In two days of bus touring we visited over 50 depots and
other railroad facilities.

Previous conventions in Pennsylvania have covered the Philadelphia area and
the Wilkes Barre/Scranton area, but the 2005 convention will be the first in
the Altoona area.

More details will be coming in future Bulletins.  I look forward to seeing
all of you there!
