Railroad agrees to lease depot site

Things are about as close as they've ever been to an actual completion of the long-envisioned Ukiah skatepark.
While just a few weeks ago it seemed that Low Gap Park was the only viable spot left for a skatepark, Wednesday saw the Ukiah Railroad Depot property virtually sealed as the official location.
The property belongs to the North Coast Railroad Authority, and on Wednesday the NCRA board of directors approved the city's proposal to lease the site for a skatepark.
