Re: (rshsdepot) Calumet MI depot on eBay



That is one neat station, don't you look in awe sometimes at how such strong
statements of architecture were put in what seem such out the way places.
People had a strong pride in place or some essence we only grasp at today in
our rather un-poetic age if you will. Calumet is on the lesser forgotten
finger of the upper peninsula of Michigan...wow, and it actually survives
and has picturesque ski races go by now....I would put back the railroad as
it sounds like they might, but still it is better than summary execution
that some stations are sentenced to...
