Thought you might enjoy the views of our tour of Andes depot and the fill
at Muir's Trestle outside of Andes on April 10, 2004.

Bill Piervincenzi, the honcho of the Andes Depot preservation/restoration
effort, was our tour guide. After a pleasant lunch at the Andes Hotel, we
toured the station area and walked south to the turntable pit. We then
collected ourselves into a small convoy for an incursion into private
property along Bullet Hole Creek (authorized, of course) to access Muir’s
fill and the culvert carrying Bullet Hole Creek through the fill.

The photos of the raw Delaware County scenery speak for themselves. Of
course, Muir’s was itself a wonder to behold, putting the meat onto the
bones described in Archer's definitive D&N history.

 Enjoy the pictures!
