Historic places nominated

The State and National Registers of Historic Places could expand again.
On Friday, the state Board of Historic Preservation recommended 41 properties for inclusion on the registers.

Chenango, Delaware, Otsego and Schoharie counties each have one property on the list.

Recommendations include the Guilford Center Presbyterian Church, the Delaware and Northern Railroad Station in Andes, the Bassett Family Residence in Mount Vision and the Peter A. Hilton House in Sharon.
