Derek,

Nice try, but it sure appears to be a dead match for the very distinctive
Valley Forge, PA 1912 Reading depot.

http://www.west2k.com/papix/valleyforge.jpg for a 2000 photo from another
angle;
http://www.west2k.com/pastations/montgomerypa.htm for the Montgomery Co.
page at Dan West's extraordinary Pennsylvania Railroad Stations Past &
Present website, which includes the following notes:

"Valley Forge - This splendid station was built in 1912 to allow visitors to
stop at Washington's Headquarters. It is built of fieldstone in colonial
revival style, with a gorgeous waiting room, complete with fireplace. The
platform roof was held up by doric columns and originally the stairways were
ornamented with pyramids of cannonballs! The station has been out of use
since the 1970, and the platform concrete is in poor condition. The two
outer tracks have been removed, and the two inner tracks are used for
freight."

Dan West's site home page is http://www.west2k.com/pa.htm ; it includes
links to similar high-quality pages for Massachusetts, New York, Ohio,
Ontario, and New Hampshire.

Let us know if you need more info on the station, or if you have any other
mystery photos or good vintage photos to share.

Cheers,
