After the President's Day 2003 snowstorm that collasped the roof of the Roundhouse and destroyed some of the priceless collection, I was devasteed as a member of the B&O Railroad Museum.
I had to go get my "fix" somewhere, so, I joined the Railroad Museum of Pennslyvania which is across the Route 741 East from the Strasburg Railroad.
They were to have the Fair of the Iron Horse in July 2004 but that was cancelled due to the museum's situation. I am hoping that they will re schedule this program in 2005 or 2006.
However, all is not lost and they will be re opening later in 2004, see the URL below for mroe information.
Then check elsewhere in the website for information on journals or other periodicals that they publish.

Can anyone provide an update on the progress of the repairs to the B&O
Museum at Baltimore, any indication of an opening (re-opening) date?
Does the museum publish a journal or magazine?
