Re: (rshsdepot) Railway Station, Syracuse



As I understand it, only a small portion will be open to the public.  The
large waiting room will be their main studio, and because of the nature of
the beast (24/7 news and weather broadcasting) it will not have public
access.  If I hear of another open house prior to them opening up, I will
share that info with this group.  As far as the exterior goes, it looks a
lot like photos I've seen of the opening in 1936 (except, of course, with
the style of cars and the fact that the tracks now belong to I-690 which I
will shortly be traversing on my way to work - I pass by it nearly every
day).
