Re: (rshsdepot) Railway Station, Syracuse

The 1936 era NYC station is being totally renovated as the regional 24/7
cable news network station for Time Warner cable. the exterior is being
lovingly restored, and the interior has been nearly totally altered. It is
scheduled to open soon. I took tour of the renovation back in February or
March. The early 1960's era 'canopy' installed after it closed as a station
has been removed. (Thank God!) Time-Warner is putting some 8 million into
the building, and it will be a gem again, with an historical museum
somewhere near the public lobby.

As far as the DL&W station, it still exists in Armory Square, and it is
right next to the 'new' Susquehanna Station that serves Ontrack. It is now
used as offices.
