add a comment or two. Having graduated from Cornell in 1969, I spent my
three years there (transferred there after four years at "other"
colleges) using the weekends to traipse througout the country side
photographing anything and everything rail (traction, also) that was
still extant. Syracuse was a mecca, though I didn't get any decent
shots of either station. There was, as some of you know, a traction
station in Syra, also. Does anybody know where it was and if the
building still exists? (That whole area of central NY was laden--even
then--with station buildings and other rail facilities, including some
of the O & W's still in place, photos of many of which I did take.)
