(rshsdepot) Paulus Street Ferry gone.

...or lack of it....on my wall is a classic photo of the Liberty Street
Central Railroad of New Jersey Ferry Terminal and next to it the
Cortlandt Street Pennsylvania Railroad ferry Terminal (the Paulus Street
Ferry) just north of it.

Here is a picture where the PRR ferry is gone, removed, not a piece
left. It ceased 1949, the Communipaw Ferry lasted to 1967:

The pre-WTC twin towers of Hudson Terminal are still there.

Here is a 1941 WPA print called Liberty Street Ferry (NYC) by Riva
Helfond:

The Paulus Ferry was the oldest, having started 1812.

Here is an older print called "New York from a Cortlandt Street
Ferry-Boat, Jersey Side" October 2, 1880 by Granville Perkins:

if we are looking back at New York, that would be the Tribune Building
with the spire, if we are looking at Jersey City I have no idea.

By the way I have seen this photo of two PRR ferries at Philadelphia
ferry terminal, it says this is location of Delaware River Bridge now,
