Much of the DL&W main between Hoboken and Buffalo is long gone. The Cutoff in
NJ and most of the DL&W from Binghamton to Buffalo is gone.

The ex-Erie main from Croxton Yard to Buffalo is still used, albeit lightly,
by NS so the EL/NKP through route is largely intact and usable.

Most of the Erie main from Meadville, PA to Chicago has been gone for years.

The NKP main from Buffalo to Chicago is intact and still well used by NS
despite their aquisition of CR's NYC/LS&MS main from Cleveland to Chicago
since June of '99.
