(rshsdepot) Virus, maybe...

TO: People Unlucky Enough to be in My Address Book

FROM: Gary

I was told I should do this and when I checked, I found three versions
of the virus still unopened, which I then deleted. I still don't know
if it's a hoax or what it is, but I'm just passing it along, just in
case. So sorry to have to bother you. Here's the text of the message
I received:

Here is how to check for the virus and how to get rid of it
You MUST DO THIS !!! This is NOT a hoax.

Go to start, find or search option.
In the file/folders option, type the name: ----- jdbgmgr.exe
Be sure you search your C: drive and all sub-folders and any other
drives
you have.
Click "Find Now"
The virus has a teddy bear icon with the name jdbgmgr.exe
DO NOT OPEN IT !!!
Go to "Edit" (on the menu bar at top of page), choose "Select All" to
highlight the file without opening it.
Now to to "File" (on the menu bar at top of page) and select "Delete"
It will then go to the recycle bin.
Go to the recycle bin (on desktop) and DELETE it there as well.

IF YOU FIND THE VIRUS, YOU MUST CONTACT ALL THE PEOPLE IN YOUR ADDRESS
BOOK,
SO THEY CAN ERADICATE IT IN THEIR OWN ADDRESS BOOKS. SORRY ABOUT THIS.

To do this:
Open a new email message.
Click the icon of the address book to the "TO"
Highlight every name and add to "BCC"
Copy this message
Enter subject
Paste to email
Send.
