Railroad history depicted in Louisiana, MO mural=20

Those interested in Kansas City Southern Railway history might wish to
visit Louisiana, MO to see a mural, entitled, "Railroads of Louisiana"=2E =
KCS
and others contributed to the painting of the mural by artist, Holly
Dehner, which was completed earlier this year=2E It can be seen on the
Louisiana Icehouse in the 300 block of South Main Street=2E=20

The mural depicts the two railroads presently serving Louisiana, KCS and
BNSF=2E The railroads intersect at the west approach to a railroad bridge
that spans the Mississippi River=2E Constructed in 1872, the bridge is the=

oldest turn-span bridge in the world=2E=20

A depot once served by KCS still stands in Louisiana, MO at South Third
Street on the north bank of Noix Creek=2E The unoccupied depot is being
restored by the Louisiana Historical Preservation Society=2E - KCS News,
