To Clarify: Caretakers will be supplied by Amtrak at the stations affected
by this change. The caretaker schedule would be the same as the other
stations that have cartakers.

Charlie Miller of VTrans is hereby requested to clarify whether the present
pattern of supplying CARETAKERS to these stations on weekends will be
expanded to cover weekdays as well - so that CARETAKERS will still be
present at all Vermont stations.
As usual, I must express my gratitude to Gene Poon for posting this 'bad
news' to the net so that the 'ordinary railfans' have a 'few clues'!

WHITE RIVER JUNCTION ^WRJ - AS WELL AS RUTLAND, VERMONT
^RUD ON THE ETHAN ALLEN ROUTE -- WILL BE UNSTAFFED
ENTIRELY.
THE LAST STAFFED DATE IS SEPT. 27. THEY HAVE BEEN UNSTAFFED
AT WEEKENDS, AND CHECKED BAGGAGE WAS DISCONTINUED LAST MONTH.
