RE: (rshsdepot) FW: Norman OK Depot

I can't specifically help him, but Norman has a Santa Fe "county seat"
style depot, similar to many others in the lower plains states but with
it's own specific decorative features. Lots of Santa Fe bricks were
made by a manufacturer in Coffeyville, KS. I guess what he means by
"brick pattern" is the decorative manner in which the bricks were laid.
Even on these county seat stations, perhaps there were some standard
designs used. Maybe some modeler sources would be good.

Some of these books might help him with photos of other OK stations. He
could get them through the Norman Public Library's interlibrary loan
service:

Santa Fe Depots: The Western Lines / by Robert E. Pounds. Dallas:
Kachina Press, 1984.
Santa Fe Depots of the Plains / by Frank M. Ellington. Colfax, IA:
Railroad Car Press, 1984.
(I've never seen this book. Does anyone have it?)
And, of course, maybe some photos in The Country Railroad Station in
America, by Grant and Bohi.
