Hre are photos of the still existing depots at Dalton, Cartersville, 
Calhoun, and Marietta, GA.  These were originally built by the Western 
and Atlantic RR alll but the one at Marietta witnessed the "Great 
Locomotive Chase".  The W&A was later taken over by the Nashville, 
Chattanooga, and St. Louis which was then merged into the L&N.  
Interestingly, the buildings and rail line are all owned by the State of 
GA and are now leased to CSX Transportation.
