Paul,
You can get there in the late morning. Weekdays a train leaves Hoboken at 9
am and arrives at Port Jervis at 11:26 am. Sat and Sun. (and Holidays) the
train leaves at 9:20 am arrives Port at 11:27 (Express train through NJ on
weekends).
This based on 01/13/2002 timetable, I don't think it has changed.
