(rshsdepot) New Book: Train Stations

One of our list members has just had a book published titled simply "Train
Stations".

The author, Alexander D. Mitchell IV, has put together a concise summary of
the history of railroad stations in North America. The hardcover, 8" x 12",
80 page book contains 5 chapters: The Station in American Life, The Earliest
Stations, The Great Terminals, Decay and Decline, and Reuse, Restore,
Revival. The book contains over 80 sharp, mostly color views of depots,
with the majority pictured in the second half of the last century.

I haven't had a chance to read the book yet, but at a price of $12.98 I
would still recommend it.

I bought a copy at Posman Books in GCT, Amazon.com also carries it.
