Is there a 'good reason' why the Frograil Web Site has no listings for New
Hampshire? ;-(
Tony Hill might humor the NH DOT Bureau of Rails & Transit by linking the
State produced railroad map posted at
http://www.trainweb.org/nhrra/History/RR-Map.htm.
Do you suppose that NERAIL members (and similar railfan lists) could forget
our distressingly provincial attitudes towards any railfan that claims to
live in Frog Pond, North Carolina long enough contribute generously to his
Web Site?
Tony Hill probably ought to link to Chuck Petlick's Northern New England
Railfan Site at http://www.nh.ultranet.com/~petlick/railfan.htm.
On a nationwide basis, the RR Station Historical Society Web Site
http://www.rrshs.org/ ought to be mentioned even though there is a
DISTRESSING LACK OF ACTIVITY around so many of the sites listed therein.
Equally distressing is the New England Rail Trail Web Site at
www.new-england-rail-trails.org. :-(
A historic B&M RR Station listing (with mileage charts) has been posted to
www.trainweb.org/nhrra. But note that the user is LEFT CLUELESS as to which
lines have been abandoned since 1923. SOMEDAY, I will add a 1917 Maine
Central publication and a 1907 Grand Trunk (Portland to Canadian Border)
publication.
The DVARP collection of Amtrak schedules at www.trainweb.com/amtrak and
associated commuter rail timetables might be linked so that that Frograil
users know where to find an Amtrak or commuter train schedule when they need
one in a hurry.
There are some recent Employee Timetable information reproduced in the FREE
section of the Eastern Railroad News Web Site
http://www.eastrailnews.com/ref/ettindex.html. NORAC Signal Rules are
nearby at http://www.eastrailnews.com/ref/norac/index.html. Also nearby at
Railroading 101 http://www.eastrailnews.com/rr101/index.html are:
* AAR Radio Frequency Listing
* Eastern Railroad Frequencies
* Railroad Reporting Marks
* (promises of additional stuff to come)

Third, I used the listings at www.frograil.com to guide me once I reached an
unfamiliar area. *********************************************
