(rshsdepot) Raleigh station debate

See the below link for an article in today's Raleigh News & 
Observer about the debate over placement of a commuter rail 
station downtown (vicinity of current Amtrak (1940s Southern) 
station).  I don't know what the plans are for the old station 
or the old Southern freight depot in the vicinity.  The new 
transit station will be adjacent, but separate, I think, from 
the Amtrak station (separate track).
