Subject: Kirkfield Station Destroyed by Fire

The other day the long-abandoned CNR Kirkfield Ontario station was 
destroyed by fire. It had been used as a summer home for a Toronto 
resident for many years, but was poorly maintained. It may have had a 
new owner in recent years and been repaired. 

This line was once the narrow gauge Toronto & Nipissing and the 
station was the original one.
