CANAAN UNION STATION FIRE ARRESTS: On December 13 four juveniles were
arrested for arson and other felony charges in connection with allegedly
setting the October 13 fire that destroyed the Canaan Union Station, in
Canaan, Connecticut. The arrests came after a two month investigation. The
suspects have been charged with first-degree arson, first-degree
endangerment, first-degree criminal mischief, and breach of peace. Each
juvenile was released on a $10,000 non-surety bond to the custody of his
parents. On December 20 they are to appear in Torrington Juvenile Court. (Al
