Rock Island Engine House demolished
The former Rock Island one-stall engine house that has stood for over 40
years at Hutchinson, KS was demolished Monday, Dec10.
The fuel tank that stood nearby that sported the Rock Island emblem for many
years was also taken down. What remains of the concrete floor and footings
is being buried on site as of this morning, Dec12. -Lynn Aldrich
