Re: (rshsdepot) Albany, NY NYC Union station
The NYC Union station was never a museum.
The station closed on Sunday, December 29, 1968.
The station reopened as the headquarters of Norstar Bank in September, 1985. Norstar subsequently became part of Fleet Bank and the building is now the northeast region headquarters for Fleet.
Last year, on the way to Rochester, Gordy Bjoraker, Mike Finzel and I stopped in. Upon asking permission to take some interior pictures we were give a mini-tour by a very informative and obviously proud director of public relations.
