Yes - started as "independent" (Erie-dominated) Wallkill Valley RR,
completed by Ulster & Delaware's Thomas Cornell, sold by him for a huge
bundle to the West Shore when he managed to have the WV buy up much of the
R/W in the path of the West Shore's survey between Kingston and Albany, went
with the West Shore into the NYC.
