Those who want to fill out the details of Jerome's outline of NYW&B history
should hunt up a copy of Roger Arcara's "Westchester's Forgotten Railway",
which is out of print but shows up a lot on the used book sites -- there
were an early and a later, expanded edition, and prices seem to start around
$30 or $40; you don't have to spend the $100 plus being asked for the copies
I see on Advanced Book Exchange right now, unless you're in a big hurry, or
can't live without a perfect autographed copy of the first printing.
