Fire investigator says depot blaze in Jonesville was set
JONESVILLE, Mich. -- An investigator from the Michigan State Police's fire
marshal division says a fire last week at the former railroad depot here was
intentionally set.
Sgt. Ken Hersha said yesterday that he found traces of an accelerant in the
remains of the building, which is off of U.S. 12 in downtown Jonesville.
Authorities say there are suspects in the arson, but have not filed charges
yet in the case.
